DCA for all Radiology Aspirants

For the assistance of future Radiologists, Diwan Chand Satya Pal Aggarwal Imaging Research Center (DCA) is providing regular post-graduate training in Radiodiagnosis, which is recognized by the National Board of Education (NBE).

The post-graduate training program at DCA imparts best practical knowledge to its students in various departments of the clinic namely Conventional Radiology, Ultrasonography, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Machine, Mammography, Echocardiography and Bone Densitometry. The center also undertakes various weekly academic programs that include Clinical Meetings, Seminars, Radiology meetings and Journal club regularly throughout the week. Prof. Indira Behl, a leading anatomist, who also takes regular lectures on various aspects of applied and radiological framework, coordinates the training program.

DCA was recognized in 1990 by the NBE, and now has 6 seats, the admission to which is held for the course beginning in December of every year. The past students of the institution have been highly successful radiologists and are practicing in various institutions in the country. DCA, a renowned educational institution is equipped with highly competent, qualified, trained and experienced faculty of radiologists. The center boasts of one of the largest libraries of books, journals and other teaching material in the country.

About National Board of Education (NBE)

The NBE was established in 1975 for improving the quality of medical education by elevating the level, and establishing standards of post-graduate examination in modern medicine on an all India basis. The board recognizes 135 medical colleges and 135 accredited institutions in 31 disciplines to impart medical education at a post-graduate level. The board on an all India Basis conducts the examination biennially.
